I’m Heather, full-time RVer & roadschooler to my 6-year-old son Rivers. I used to occupy my days as a high school English teacher & yearbook adviser in my hometown in Southern Arizona.

My husband Ben has been working as a river guide for 20 years with Western River Expeditions.  He started in their Moab operation and now guides in the Grand Canyon. His work schedule is seasonal, meaning he is guiding from April to September and then home with us October through March. This means we will be road-schooling Rivers while we travel the country during Ben’s off-season.

We are embarking on a new journey as full-time RVers. It’s a pretty crazy story how we ended up on this path, but we are all incredibly excited about it.
